Cabasse loudspeakers were scattered all over ChateauBoisBriand. Their blond wild cherry wooden structure together with the soft grey front cover announces a soft but crisp sound.
Our ambition is to find, someday, a couple of Gallion loudspeakers from the same Cabasse manufacturer. Georges and Elisabeth Cabasse created the most spectacular speakers, a few tens of miles from Bois-Briand. They manufactured them in the deep Tronçais Forest then gave up because of the overwhelming costs of quality. Cannon Japan owns, to-day, Cabasse brand and manufacture, in Brest.
Guests appreciate their visual and audio qualities both in the Orangerie, when listening to recorded concerts or, by the fireplace, in the kitchen (when watching, all together, the latest news) or, on winter, in the Grand-Salon, facing the great XVIIst Century marble chimney. These Cabasse loudspeakers were bought in 1975 when I was a System Analysis and Marketing teacher at www.audencia.com. Because our houses were built with what we brought from our workplaces, travellers homes are filled with souvenirs from workplaces all over the world.
